You have questions... We have answers
How thick of material can you stamp?
Our range is from .005" to .375" thick; metric range is .127mm to 9.525mm.
What types of material can you stamp?
Any stampable material. Examples include: mild steel, stainless steel,
brass, aluminum, copper, 4130, inconel, waspalow, and hasteloy.
What size hole can you stamp?
In general terms, we can stamp a hole about the same diameter as the
material is thick. For example, a .050" hole in a material .050" thick.
This can vary slightly due to material thickness and hardness. It is
better NOT to stamp a hole less than 1.5 times the material thickness;
for example, a hole .075" in material .050" thick. This allows for less
hole distortion, better punch life, and tool maintenance.
